Just call. I may not need notice but planning ahead is recommended. You must arrange access to the property and either you or your representative will need to be there. The inspection and related discussion will take 30-60 mins.
Q. Do you provide a written report?
Sorry, no. Very simply, I am providing an opinion on the building as an experienced carpenter with a reputation for high quality workmanship. You will pay significantly more for a written report and the inspector can be held liable for mistakes. My service is aimed at buyers or tenants wanting qualified reassurance without high costs. Feel free to come prepared with questions and you are welcome to take notes.
Q. Can you give an assessment of property value?
No. I'm not always up to date with current real estate market in Whangarei. The "value" I offer is whether your new investment will be a good one long term.
Q. Are you available for building work?
Unfortunately no, not at this time. However, my Building Services page has details of carpenters in Whangarei / Northland which I can confidently recommend.
Q. Can you supply references?
Not officially but I have enjoyed a high level of returning custom. I would appreciate your feedback / reviews on my service either emailed to me or submitted at one of the directories I list with, eg. Chippie on Finda.
